Description/Notes on Hot Lunch
- Hot lunch will be sold by the school on Mondays.
- Parent/parish volunteers will purchase, make/cook, serve, and clean up from the meal. We will put out several different time slots so that people do not feel they have to do all of the work.
- Parents are responsible for purchasing the food and preparing the meal before lunch begins at 11:00.
- We will charge via FACTS for lunches eaten in retrospect.
- We will need to raise lunch prices to meet inflation rates to $3.00/meal/child.
- Parents who volunteer for the meal will still receive a free lunch for their child(ren) that day.
- The other change we will make this year is to have "Celebratory Hot Lunch" days for special feasts to draw our student's attention to the tradition of feasting for solemnities (i.e. around/before All Saints' Day, Immaculate Conception, our Patronal Feasts (Archangels and St. Patrick's and Blessed Trinity), etc.).
